At times, you may need to transfer a Task to a different SMO because a Subject has moved to another organization. To begin this process, click the Transfer button at the bottom of the RFA. In the RFA Transfer Requests pop-up window, type a reason in the Reason for Transfer text box. Next, type the name of the SMO you wish to transfer to into the SMO Name text box and then click the Search button. The Select SMO from Search Results panel will display a list of potential SMOs. Click the desired SMO to add the SMO name to the “SMO to Receive RFA Task” field. Click the Transfer button to transfer the RFA task. The Clear button will clear all fields if you wish to start over. After clicking the Transfer button, a confirmation message displays on the JVS homepage. The SMO receiving the RFA task and the user who created the RFA task receive an RFA Task transfer notification in Unread Notifications.

Please note that an RFA can only be transferred once. The RFA must be claimed by the SMO it is originally assigned to before it can be transferred. Otherwise, the Green Transfer button will not be available. If the SMO Acknowledges Receipt of the RFA, then the RFA must be processed by that SMO and the Transfer option will not be available.
