Like Interim Eligibility, the Interim SCI Eligibility CSR is used to grant a temporary, or Interim SCI eligibility to a subject. This CSR can be created by users with the following roles: Security Officer, Security Officer Administrator, Security Manager, and Application Administrator. These roles must have the Create CSR and Manage SCI Access permissions. Also, the SMO’s Facility Clearance Level must be Top Secret.

The Subject preconditions are as follows: In addition to being provisioned as Industry, the Subject must be a U.S. citizen and have an Open case. The investigation type must be Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), Special Background Periodic Reinvestigation (SBPR), Phased Periodic Reinvestigation (PPR), or Tier 5 (T5). Finally, the Subject cannot have an open Interim SCI CSR from the same SMO.

CSR 9: Interim SCI Eligibility

Purpose: to grant a subject a temporary interim eligibility.

Roles:

  • Security Officer
  • Security Officer Admin
  • Security Manager
  • Application Admin

SMO Preconditions:

  • Owning relationship with the Subject.
  • Create CSR/Manage SCI Access permissions.
  • Top Secret Facility clearance level.

Subject Preconditions:

  • Provisioned in an Industry SMO.
  • U.S. citizen.
  • Have a current Open case.
  • Have a SSBI, SBPR, PPR, or T5 Investigation type.
  • No current Open Interim SCI CSRs with the same SMO.
