Transcript Text

To receive system login credentials, you must have an Interim Tier 3 or greater eligibility and have a user profile created by your Hierarchy or Account Manager. We will discuss this process in more detail later in this module.

Before you can register for a DISS account, you must have a DoD approved Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) credential (Common Access Card (CAC), Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card, or authorized External Certificate Authority (ECA) certificate. You should contact your Government Sponsor to learn how to acquire your PKI certificate smartcard or token.

There are a few technical requirements to keep in mind any time you are accessing the DISS application. DISS works best when viewed using one of the following web browsers: Edge (Version 11 or newer), Mozilla Firefox, or Chrome. The DISS application requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768, although the recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080. Please note that a government approved encryption method is required.
