In certain circumstances, government subjects may need a One-Time Access. Typically, this type of access is granted when a subject is working on a short-term project, attending training, or visiting an organization where they need access that is one level higher than their current eligibility. ​

To get a One-Time Access, subjects must: ​

• Be U.S. citizens with an active Confidential or Secret eligibility.​
• Need access to one level higher than their current eligibility, except for SCI.​
• Not currently have an Active or Suspended One-Time Access.​
• Not have an unresolved incident report.​

Subjects may receive a subsequent One-Time Access after a 365-day period has passed following the date of the last One-Time Access debrief.​
