In certain circumstances, government subjects may need a One-Time Access. Typically, this type of access is granted when a subject is working on a short-term project, attending training, or visiting an organization where they need access that is one level higher than their current eligibility. ​

To get a One-Time Access, subjects must: ​

Subjects may receive a subsequent One-Time Access after a 365-day period has passed following the date of the last One-Time Access debrief.​

Granting One-Time Access

Reasons and Conditions for One-Time Access (Government Subjects only):

Reasons:

  • Short-term project
  • Training event
  • Visit requiring access one level higher than current (except SCI)

Conditions:

  • U.S. citizens with active Confidential or Secret eligibility
  • Cannot have Active or Suspended One-Time access
  • Cannot have an unresolved incident report
  • 365 days must have passed since the last one-time access debrief date
